(jumpsuit- tibi, shirt-I embellished, rings-LV/izaskunzabala, shoe-brother vellies)
It’s sublime, isn’t it? I feel like I’m walking through a day dream.
I love the harmony comprised by layering my clothing onto this environment. Considering this jumpsuit has such strong structured lines I thought it would be interesting to play that against the organic landscape, here, at McKinney Falls. There are opposing linear and textural qualities yet similar tonal qualities that, combined, seem like a natural friendship.
A jumpsuit is one garment that is often questionable on the hanger. They’re brought to life by a figure which showcases the silhouette, the tailoring and the movement of the fabric. This one in particullar is made by Tibi. I know, I know..I’m an advocate for this NYC-based brand but I just can’t help myself! i mean, look, this is practically a one-piece power suit! I love the passion their clothing evokes from me. Their runway presentations always inspire me and create a thirst within me that isn’t quenched until I put my hands on the pieces! The jumpsuit i have on features broad dramatic shoulder straps, exposed pockets and widened relaxed legs, a feature you’ll see quite a bit while scrolling through their lookbooks. Since the shoulder straps are so dominating I decided to add a slouchy long sleeve shirt underneath to soften that up. I cropped it just about an inch above the waistband to give it enough cushion room to flow freely with my movement. The python slide I’ve paired with the look are cohesive with the warmer tones throughout these images. The calico browns accompany the foliage, my hair and the golden metallics sprinkled around my torso.
plug: SUNROOM on south congress has the coolest naturally influenced shoes from brother vellies that feature snake skin, fox fur, deer hide and more..super interesting. You’ll spot more in my portfolio;)
